free mind, caged body

digital messages
which evaporate
in their own heat
lips promising kisses
wetting the passage
to touch the soul
alcohol induced
small talk
unable to
the burden
held away
from flesh
minds make love
with gay abandon

your title reminds me of much of the world. we want to do something, but hold back. what is it in us that prevents us?

this is very different different from 'the mind is willing but the the body is weak'. this is the mind is willing but the the body is unwilling'

wrapped it up quickly? can sense the conflict but this is not the best of your poems...:-)

whats making love if it is not the minds at it!

"unbearable lightness" of a free mind's burden :) ... absolutely wonderful!

i loved the way you ended it.
Quite sarcastic yet true... i love how you can mock at reality with such ease :)
